SaintFlyff Newbie Guide

One thing I want to say before continuing with the guide. Please DO NOT beg here!!! It is annoying to everyone! >.< (but maybe you'll be lucky and someone will help you XD) Okay, continuing with the guide. :)

What is different about this server?

-Well, we have some custom items here and there. (some you can buy, some you can get by voting, and some by donations)

-We have custom awakes!
- No more negative awakes!
- You can get +155 to STR, STA, DEX, and INT. (Or up to +200 on fashion)
- Decreased Casting Time goes up to +25% on armor. +30% on fashion
- Critical Chance gives +85% on armor. Up to +100% on fashion
- ADoCH gives +85% on armor. Up to +100% on fashion
- There is no Attack Speed awake, but hopefully that's not a concern. XD
- Running Speed goes up to +35% on armor! Up to +35% on fashion! O.O You can run like the wind!!! XD
- There is also an Increased Attack awake. It goes up to +95% on armor and +100% on fashion. VERY useful for ALL classes. (except RM, since they don't fight XD)
- There is also no Max FP awake. Only MP awake which gives +450 or up to +30% and Max HP which goes up to +50% on armor and +50% on fashion

-Press the Z key and a teleport menu pops up! Very convenient and it's the only method to go to places like Euphresia, Herneos, and Sanpres. Only drawback is now you can't follow someone while flying XD

-Press the U key and a custom pet filter pops up! Check the items you DO NOT want your pet to pick up and click apply. Do this everytime you log in and summon your pet. For now, pets will always pick up Ultimate weapons, pet beads, and Cash Shop items regardless of filters.

-We have V18 weapons! They are customized for the higher lvls and can be found in the v18 dungeons. (Euphresia/Herneos/Sanpres)

-FREE items as you level up! Spros, Gpros, Apros, a Pick-up pet, Suns, Moons, Shining Oricalkums, a custom cloak, even a Baruna Upgrade Spirit! And more! The free gifts stop at level 148 or so. (Tip: Because you get so many items as you level up. Press B and use the Extra Bags)

-Get different stuff from the Collecting Area! In SaintFlyff, you can get...

NPC Guide
In Flaris we have...

Buff Pang: Gives all maxed Assist buffs. Also gives RM buffs and Acrobat's Fast Walker.

Is: Sells premium items like SProtects, Item Transys, Reversions, Tickets, Restats, etc.

Isruel: Sells fashion sets. (Has custom fashions too :o)

Boboku: Sells green weapons up to Lv 105.

Boboko: Sells green armor up to Lv 105.

Luda: Sells more fashions O.o they come in separate parts.

Jeff: Sells even MORE fashions o.o also comes in separate parts.

[General] Lui: Sells Baruna upgrade materials

Jewel Manager Peach: Sells Awake scrolls, pick up pets, buff pets, pet beads, shields, and cloaks! She sells custom shields for Lv 190 characters :o but I think one of them is bugged which makes you able to wear it at much lower levels XD. This is where you should get the Cloak of Honor so farming is easier!

Bobochan: Upgrades your stuff, of course XD success rate is like 99%!!! O.O

Public Office Julia: She sells 7% and (A) cards, shining oricalkums, and of course, Perin. No Element cards so you will have to get them yourself XD

[Station] Dior: Sells flying items. Not much in there but...XD

[Magic] Marche: Sells blinkwings to almost everywhere!

Nerupha: Does Fashion Combination. Find him in East Flaris. (Tip: Keep both of the fashion sets you get at Lv 15. Awaken them with the Blessing of Goddess and combine them with a fashion set of your choice)

[SaintFlyff Blue Chips Exchanger] RoB143: Here you can exchange your Blue Chips that you get by voting.

In Saint Morning we have...

Leann: Don't know why but she sells wings :D

[Public Office] Julia: She will help make you a guild.

[Colosseum Manager] Marcario: Takes you to the Colosseum. It's a little bit different because it always spawns the real bosses with the real drops. Bring a BP with good asal damage because there is a boss that spams stun like crazy D: Find him near the old Arena.

Where do I level next!?

Some people wonder where to level after 150 or so. The last place you will level in, and always level in is Traseia. I know, Lv 126 monsters sound old or whatever but unless you can survive 1m+ damage and deal 1m+ damage from the mobs in Euphresia/Herneos/Sanpres, Traseia is where you will level until 190. Make sure to use amps!

I need Penya!!!

Making Penya is sooo easy! Just farm the monsters in Azria or Traseia with a Cloak of Honor and a pick up pet. You shouldn't even need to beg for Penya! You can also go to Kalgas Cave and get the 130 sets and sell those. Or somehow get Sweet Ddukguks or Remantis Lacottes and sell those.

Where do I get this item?

Some of our bosses here are editted for some reason I do not know :s below is a drop list.

-The Lv 135 weapons (also known as Behemoth weapons or Muran weapons) still drop from Ankou

-The Lv 130 3rd job sets still drop from Kalgas

-Royalum weapons drop from Silverwing Dutchess/Ace Silverwing Dutchess in Sanpres/Sanpres_1

-Accessory sets (champion's, adept's, etc.) drop from Chief Keokuk. He is found in the Colosseum (after Razgul) and the Kaillun Grasslands.

-Saint Gladiator's Gold weapons drop from Asmodan. Find him in the Colosseum or one of the Secret Rooms (Secret Rooms are open every Wednesday at 12 AM server time) These are BARUNA weapons!!! Look below for a guide.

Baruna Upgrade Guide

What you will need:
-Upgrade Spirit Piyo or Udi (you get Piyo upon leveling up. If you threw it away, you can do the quest in Eillun to get Udi. Talk to [Upgrade Specialist] Rutam to start. If you can't do the quest...go buy one from [General] Lui :D)
-Pieces of Order (these drop from any monsters) OR Crystals of Order (they drop from some bosses. Ankou and Kalgas to name a few) OR <-no longer required! Stones of Balance <- buy from [General] Lui in Flaris
-Dregs of Chaos OR Chaos Gems No longer required!
-Divine Potion of Binding (bought from Eillun or Bahara General Store)
-Tar of Chaos (also bought from the same NPCs)
-Blessing of Baruna (you also get these upon leveling up. Also, you can buy them from [General] Lui
-Any spare Ultimate weapons you may have.
-Bareum Powder (bought from the same NPCs)

If you have these materials, let's double click our Piyo/Udi in your inventory and see what they can do...

It is summoned like a pet, so it will disappear if you move too far. Plus, it does not move.

Click on your Piyo/Udi and a menu appears:

-Baruna Upgrade
-Extract Chaos Stones
-Create Chaos Gems
-Upgrade Order Stones
-Create Stone of Balance
-Socket Ancient Rune

UPDATE: Now you can get your Baruna materials from [General] Lui!!!

In order to Baruna Upgrade, you need a Baruna Weapon, a Stone of Balance, and a Blessing of Baruna. You might have a weapon and a Blessing already, but what about the Stone of Balance?

To get a Stone of Balance, we need to create one. It requires a Crystal of Order, a Chaos Gem, and a Bareum Powder.

To get a Crystal of Order, we need to select 'Upgrade Order Stones' with a Pieces of Order and a Divine Potion of Binding.

To get a Chaos Gem. Select 'Extract Chaos Stones'. Place any weapon or armor in the slot and hit 'Start'. This may get you a Chaos Gem, some Dregs of Chaos, or nothing. It's best to use Ultimate Weapons to extract from, as they will guarantee a success. If you get Dregs of Chaos, select 'Create Chaos Gems' with the Dregs and some Tar of Chaos handy.

Once you get the above items, you can create a Stone of Balance and start Baruna Upgrade after all that hard work!

Obviously, select 'Baruna Upgrade' and place your Baruna Weapon, a Blessing of Baruna, and a Stone of Balance. Then hit 'Start'. The success rate seems to be very high until +15. Then it will start failing for sure and you'll need the Blessing of Baruna handy. With the Baruna Upgrade, your weapons can go up to +20!!! :O

For now, you can Awake your Baruna Weapons normally, but you cannot pierce it or element it. Once the GMs fix up some things, you can insert Ancient Runes and Element your Baruna Weapons ^_^ You can now pierce Ancient Runes into your Baruna weapon!

Want to make your Baruna weapon even stronger? Let's get a scroll of RProtect, Scroll of Rune Socketing Success from [General] Lui, and an Ancient Rune of your choice. Summon your Piyo/Udi and click 'Socket Ancient Rune'. From there, you should know what to do ^_^ then click 'Start' and now your Baruna weapon has additional effects!

or alternatively i think going to bahara desert at the
desert spirit sages(the lvl 142) with 5 exp amplification scrolls, i made 3 lvl 190 using that method

oh and if you have good weapons and equips and stuff you could go to herneos, euphresia or even sanpres mobs there drop 100m+ per kill about more or less 20 mobs could get you to 2b penya

[U] Pet Filter has some bugs .. Checked Sunstone and Moonstone .. apply and OK .. but it's still looting them. <--- Needs Fix

Pet Filter is currently not stable since their are still some bugs on it. But for sure next update it will be implemented. Good suggestion then. Keep it up

Well done! this will help a lot players. With your agreement though, I think it would be better for the baruna upgrade part to be another full guide because nobody will search for baruna things if he's newbie.
